Leonberg/Herten, February 20, 2025 - Erik Sterck GmbH and PROSOZ Herten GmbH are two companies from the IT sector working together. The Herten-based company is a provider of complete software solutions for municipal needs. Erik Sterck GmbH acts as a sparring partner for various projects.
The Leonberg-based system house is PROSOZ's point of contact for IT infrastructure issues and the in-house CI/CD pipeline. A few years ago, the teams jointly implemented a modern HCI environment to provide PROSOZ with a flexibly scalable infrastructure. This has now been adapted to meet the current requirements of the software provider. Another focus is on updating and integrating the data backup into the HCI environment in order to be able to quickly restore the IT infrastructure in the event of an emergency. “Further developing a reliable, non-compromisable backup was an urgent request from the customer, which we solved well together,” says Christoph Hesse, Sales Director Germany at Erik Sterck GmbH.
A completely new project in the collaboration was the modernization of a CI/CD pipeline with the aim of increasing efficiency and profitability. As a result, capacities have doubled. In the CI/CD pipeline, PROSOZ tests its in-house software solutions before they are delivered to the end customer. “This was a special task for us, in which we not only supported the design of the hardware platform, but also the implementation of open source solutions,” says Hesse. “What we particularly appreciate about our collaboration with Erik Sterck GmbH is the goal-oriented teamwork on an equal footing and without any willingness to compromise when it comes to quality and performance,” says Tim-Kristof Sohn, Head of IT Management at PROSOZ Herten GmbH.
